Limpopo is South Africa's northern gateway — mountains and bushveld in the Waterberg, the Tropic of Capricorn crossing the middle of the province, the sacred lakes and forests of Vhembe-Venda, and the northern reaches of Kruger National Park.
Malala-Tau connects Johannesburg to all of it. Rather than selling disconnected excursions, we build the circuit — so an international visitor arrives in Gauteng and leaves having seen a complete journey.

Makgabeng · Marakele · The Waterberg · Bakone Malapa. Four days that move from one of South Africa's great rock-art landscapes, into Big Five bushveld, over the Waterberg passes, and out into living Bakone culture.
The heritage and geological opening chapter. Guided interpretation of the rock-art landscape, cultural storytelling and local history, a traditional lunch where available, and the sandstone formations at sunset.
From mountains to wildlife. Marakele sits in the Waterberg range with game drives, birding, guided walks and 4×4 routes — and one of the country's great Cape vulture colonies.
A driving day built as an experience rather than a transfer — mountain passes and winding roads, Waterberg sandstone and the Red Beds, bushveld valleys, viewpoints, birding and photography stops, through communities along the way.
The journey closes by moving from landscape into living culture. Traditional Bakone homesteads and architecture, indigenous knowledge, traditional food, music and dance, crafts and community interaction at the open-air museum.
Rock art without interpretation is a wall with marks on it. Every day on this journey is guided — the rock-art landscape, the geology, the Waterberg, and the Bakone homesteads.
